Η 73η απονομή των Golden Globe Awards ολοκληρώθηκε στο Beverly Hilton Hotel με οικοδεσπότη για τέταρτη φορά τον Ricky Gervais και μεγάλο νικητή της βραδιάς το film “The Relevant” που απέσπασε μεταξύ άλλων τα Βραβεία Καλύτερης Δραματικής Ταινίας, Καλύτερης Σκηνοθεσίας για τον Alejandro González Iñárritu και Α’ Ανδρικού Ρόλου για τον Leonardo DiCaprio.
Βραβείο Α’ Γυναικείου ρόλου για την Brie Larson (“Room”) ενώ τη Χρυσή Σφαίρα Β’ Γυναικείου Ρόλου κατέκτησε η Kate Winslet (“Steve Jobs”) και Β’ Ανδρικού ο Silvester Stalone (“Creed”)
Χρυσή Σφαίρα και για την Lady Gaga στην κατηγορία Καλύτερης Ηθοποιού σε Μίνι Σειρά ή Τηλεταινία για το ρόλο της στο “American Horror Story: Hotel”.
Στην κατηγορία Καλύτερης Κωμωδίας ή Μιούζικαλ Χρυσή Σφαίρα για το “The Martian”, του Ridley Scott, ενώ ο Matt Damon κέρδισε τη Χρυσή Σφαίρα Α’ Ανδρικού Ρόλου σε Κωμωδία για την ίδια ταινία και η Jennifer Lawrence Χρυσή Σφαίρα Α’ Γυναικείου Ρόλου σε Κωμωδία/Μιούζικαλ για το “Joy”.
Στην κατηγορία της Καλύτερης Δραματικής Τηλεοπτικής Σειράς κέρδισε το Mr Robot ενώ σ’ αυτήν της Καλύτερης Κωμικής σειράς η Μιούζικαλ το “Mozart in the Jungle”
