Το πόσο δύσκολη περίοδο διανύει η άλλοτε ισχυρή Blackberry, είναι γνωστό σε όλους πλέον. Και δη περισσότερο στους ίδιους τους χρήστες και οπαδούς της, οι οποίοι κάθε μέρα με λύπη τους διαβάζουν τα διάφορα δημοσιεύματα για την κατρακύλα και την επερχόμενη πώληση της εταιρείας. Ωστόσο, σήμερα διάβασαν για την αγαπημένη τους BB ένα ακόμη δημοσίευμα, σε 30 εφημερίδες και διάφορα έντυπα 9 επιλεγμένων χωρών. Σε αυτό το δημοσίευμα, η ίδια η Blackberry επιχειρεί να τους πείσει πως δεν είναι «τελειωμένη» και να διατηρήσουν την πίστη τους σε αυτή, αφού θα τους ανταμείψει στο μέλλον με νέα, ανταγωνιστικά προϊόντα.
Αναφορά γίνεται τόσο στο BBM που έρχεται για Android και iPhone, όσο και στα χρηματικά αποθέματα της εταιρείας που είναι «σημαντικά», ενώ επίσης δεν καταγράφει και «χρέη στον προϋπολογισμό της». Η εταιρεία σκοπεύει να μειώσει τα κόστη κατά 50% για να γίνει πιό ανταγωνιστική απέναντι στους υπόλοιπους παίκτες της αγοράς, ενώ υπενθυμίζει πως διαθέτει «τα καλύτερα εργαλεία παραγωγικότητας», τις 4 συσκευές της (2 touch και 2 QWERTY) με το Blackberry 10, παρέχη «τη μεγαλύτερη ασφάλεια» στην κλάση της, αλλά και «το καλύτερο enterprise mobility management».
Όλα τα παραπάνω ακούγονται καλά, όπως και η παραδοχή της εταιρείας πως τα προϊόντα της ναι μεν «δεν είναι για τον καθένα», αλλά αυτό «δεν την πειράζει» και με τον τρόπο αυτό μπορούν και οι χρήστες της να ξεχωρίσουν. Δυστυχώς, αυτό το δημοσίευμα μοιάζει περισσότερο σαν μια κραυγή αγωνίας, μια ύστατη προσπάθεια να μη χάσει και τους λίγους πιστούς φίλους που της έχουν απομείνει, τουλάχιστον μέχρι να ορθοποδήσει. Αν μπορέσει.
